Brooklyn barber Dee-Dee, a self-proclaimed "booty expert," proudly sports a wall covered with perfect female images cut from the pages of magazines. However, when he is introduced to the art of media manipulation, he may never look at beauty the same way again. Director Jesse Epstein received an MA in documentary film and gender studies at NYU and is also known for her Public Service Announcement about body image, aired on Oxygen. She is the founder of a youth video program in Manhattan’s Lower East Side and is an instructor for Reel Stories, Sundance’s youth documentary lab.
