Backseat Bingo
“Sexy senior seeks same someone who can dance, no Republicans please.”
Animated documentary
5:30
Director: Liz Blazer
This delightful animated documentary features elderly adults speaking frankly about dating, friendship and, yes, sex. Director Liz Blazer created it by scanning watercolor drawings, fabrics and printed textures and then using PhotoShop and After Effects for assembly and animation. Liz recently graduated with an MFA in Animation from USC. Backseat Bingo was her thesis project. Liz has also worked as a development artist for Disney Television, as a special effects designer for MTV and as an art director for the Palestinian/Israeli Sesame Street. She is currently working on “The Food Court Diaries,” a series of animated documentary shorts for The Cartoon Network.
